Okay I'm gonna cut right to the chase. Will the AODE from the 3.8L bolt right up to a 94-95 5.0L or will I have to do some work to get it to work with the V8?

Thanks in advance for your help everyone! :D

YUP. in a pinch you can bolt up 3.8 5 speed to a 5.0 Gt or Cobra
The 3.8 5 speed can't take as mush torque as the GT and Cobra trans. And the input shaft is smaller diameter and will require a 3.8 pilot bearing.
Just don't beat on it though.

**** thats news to me (input shaft diameter), better yank out the V6 T5 Im currently using in my Cobra.
I knew there was a difference in the foxbody 5L and 4cyl transmissions.

A friend was swaping out the trans in his 5.0 SN and noticed the pilot bearing in the kit was the wrong size. went back to the parts house to change out the bearing and it was the same as the first. then they decided to look up the 6cyl bearing and that was a match.
