So I am looking for that low toned rumble at low rmp and a high toned scream at high, or atleast something close. What would you recomend headers/midpipe/exhaust, everything.

think of this question as if money isnt an issue.

Depends on your personal taste, I will tell you longtubes, o/r x-pipe, 40 series flows.
If you want a loud pissed off sound, shorty headers, o/r x-pipe, SLP loudmouths(what I have right now)

I'm not a fan of flows. They drone so bad. But my 10 series sound so sexy at wide open I have a hard time getting rid of them. I'm sure with tail pipes they will be more livable. Mags sound good as well as dyne max.

My combo of Mac longtubes, Mac o/r H pipe, and dumped Dynomax Ultraflows with no turndowns is very boring sounding. Maybe its because I've drove it this way for so long. I'd personally love to try a Prochamber and some SLP's or something similar

off road h and spintech pro streets....sounds gnarly on a stock-ish motor. Cammed...even better.

youtube is your best friend when it comes to exhaust clips. haha

The only thing about youtube is that you don't get the exact sound. When I was looking up slp loudmouths, they're alot louder than they are on youtube, lol

I have had straight pipes on my stang. I think it personally is exactly like SLP LM1's. It sounded fine under 3000 rpm's after that it was just sounded stupid, raspy, like a john deere tractor. I even had High flow cats on mine which helped muffle the sound and it was just stupid to try and do. Don't do Straight pipes or LM1's

Win i was figuring someone would post that vid, thanks. What I liked about my Bassani is it really has a bit of an exotic sound at WOT, not something you get from a typical chambered muffler.

Yeah the bassani longtubes and the X already sound exotic to begin with then the Dr Gas just gives it an even better sound.

I first had shorties, 40 flows and o/r x and I loved it

Then I got long tubes, super 40s and o/r h and didn't like it as much, but it still sounded good

Now I have 1 3/4 bassani shorties, o/r x and borla stingers. I havnt gotten to hear this set up yet but it should be a keeper
