personally i like modular engines

but if you want a GT id say go with a 5.0. they are easier/cheaper to work. 4.6s are pretty damn expensive.

if you buy a modular id say get a cobra, IMO, 2v's arent worth it unless you plan on boosting

There is a 95 cobra here in Portland for $5K with 101K miles on it. Clean as hell really......1 owner and a book of everything FORD has done to it over the years.... Ford only repairs to be exact.... Every oil change, set of tires, wiper blades you name it..... Has to be $8K in receipts alone...

Can't exactly put an engine on like .. my bike. Need a car.. But that is a really good deal actually for anyone in your area looking for a swap

If you want something to mess with and fix up and make go Vroom Vroom, I'd say a 94-95 5.0L all day. Fairly easy and cheap to work on.

If you want something decently Vroom Vroom from the factory but aren't planning on any major mods, save up a little and get a 4V.
