Went to see my dad during lunch break today. I pulled the circuit breaker fan module, plugged the fan connector directly to the fan, and ran the KOEO/KAM again (didn't do KOER or cyl. balance).

Only code that popped up for KOEO: 564... damn fan code. I had him listen/watch for the fan to turn on at the start of the test and he could swear it spun slowly at first, then kicked onto the higher speed.

the only KAM code: 332 for the EGR thing. The fuel pump code is gone.

Tested continuity across the fan circuit breaker module and all was good, so I'll put that back on when I get a chance.

It's friggin' hot outside.

Didn't get much done this past weekend. Still need to test the high-speed fan, weld on my new O2 bung and fix my leaking tailshaft. I think it's the tailshaft bushing. Got the bushing and removal/installation tool on the way so I can change it without pulling the trans again.

Found some pics of the car after the accident. Coming up on the 9-year mark, so I need these to remind me to keep going and hit my 10-year goal.

I knew that would get somebody in here to post besides me. :p

For 5 years, my EGR has been capped off with a dime JB welded into the original nut. I don't know where the dime went, or if I'll find a sliver of it remaining after I pull that off to replace it with my cap from Wazee's

Replaced it with the machined Cap from Wazee's. Tried to do the 1 cent fix here at work, but didn't have a socket that would fit. Also, the adjustable wrench that I had that was big enough wouldn't have been able to get it off.

Had to use a breaker bar w/ cheater after liberal application of PB Blaster. Applied Copper Anti-seize per Wazee's instructions, so hopefully it should be easier to remove next time. I plan on ditching these garbage MAC headers someday.

gotta pic. and is Wazee's back in business.
I didn't take one when I did it since I was outside and the rain was coming. Actually started raining right after I finished tightening the new cap. Fortunately it started off as a drizzle and that gave me time to pack up the tools.

I'll get a pic sometime this week. We're expecting rain for much of the week, but Wazee's is up and running again: http://wazees.com/ Seems like a lot of his older products aren't on the site, but I'm sure he can still make them.

Mad respect mad! Keep up the build.

Thanks! One of these days I'll make a thread for my V6. :/

Not many pictures, but a pretty substantial update. Didn't really get any work done on the Cobra this weekend. I spent both Saturday and Sunday fixing my 240.. which has been in the garage since January.
This is what I usually DD, and driving the Cobra everyday was taking its toll on me. Spec Stage 3 clutch and no A/C (especially throughout the summer) was a real kick in the nuts. I need to take a hard look at everything on the Cobra this Fall/Winter/Spring. Now that the 240 is driving again, that's a real possibility again.

It started as just a radiator swap, then turned into a replace knock sensor & harness, belts, water pump, fan clutch, intake gaskets, heater hoses, and so on. I also installed a Hotshot header and test pipe on it.

I have more things to do to it, but I'll prefer to just keep it puttering along as the DD until either the Cobra is back to where I want it, I fix the trans in my vert, or I get my blue 96 V6 ready for daily duty.

I have more shots of it, as well as of the Cobra being clean, but they didn't come out. I'm only using my phone as my camera. I can't get motivated enough to bust out the DSLR just because I washed the damn things.

Just after I pulled it out of the garage:

Later in the day, after a bath and some test driving. I still need to tweak the hood alignment.

Yes.. it needs paint. All of my cars need paint.

Made a bit of progress on the Cobra yesterday. Got the garage cleaned up enough to pull it in, then replaced my defective oil pressure switch.

Tackled the Odometer gear replacement also. It's been about two years since I did one of these. Crappy pics (I really need to pick up a point and shoot):

Got the new stuff installed, but now I'm thinking about doing cluster LED's while I'm at it. Thoughts?
