94 cobra steering too tight

Hi everyone I'm just wondering if there is any way to loosen up the steering? It appears to be a newer rack and pinion, the steering is so reactive it's scary. It feels every bump in the road.

Just checking you didn't cross any lines on the rack
Put the wrong line on the wrong position


And make sure all air is out
Bleed it back and forth steering

Do you have any suspension upgrades or an aftermarket steering shaft?

I haven't done any steering upgrades, all the work was done before I got it. I thought it was tramlining due to the side tires. I removed the 2inch spacers in the back trying to improve the driveability.

You can adjust the pre-load on the steering rack.

If adjusting the rack doesn’t work I’d look at the steering pump. It almost sounds like you have too much assist.
