I have a 94 GT. I got the car with an empty engine bay, no motor harness or computer. I bought an explorer and hopefully took everything I need from it, including motor harness and computer. In a explorer the computer is under the hood and I will be putting it somewhere inside the car are there some do's and don'ts? Anyone done this mod; AODE form standard, EDIS from distributor, how hard is the joining of these harnesses? As I get ready to start the engine compartment I have some questions.
like wire length is there a max?
splice and solider wires and can I use just a few different color wires if I do this or should I re pin?
a good supplier for broken connectors and wire?
I will need a chip also, or should I be looking into something like megasquirt?
anybody move the fuse/relay block under the hood?
any other tips or experiences?
