Well, I know Its been a loooong time since I've been on here. But high school can get pretty crazy sometimes :happydrunks: and I usually only check myspace and facebook. However I'm working the old forums back into my routine

But the reason for the Topic in the Build-Up section is...

I didnt react fast enough to a small line of stopped cars + no ABS + welding the brake pedal to the floor with my foot = I think i hit her doing sub-twenty-five. However when I locked up the brakes, the whole car pulled to the right ever so slightly... and pretty much lined up the drivers airbag sensor with the dead-center of the poor lady's Altima :wall: Resulting in:

So my father and I began ordering parts and removing everything that was damaged.
The radiator and A/C made it with a few bent fins. I cant say the same for the Radiator support. So we drilled out some welds and cut the support for easier access.

We had previosuly purchased the new paint... just never had time to prep and paint the car. My wreck gave us a reason. So while the front end was being repaired... Dad started showing me the ropes of body work and bondo :banana:

Now, some may notice the break in dates of these next photos, Feb was a busy month. lol. So Dad and I got back on the project and got almost all of the sanding done. So, my father decided to spray the hood, fenders, and top of the front bumper with some primer (I think i burned off some brain cells from the fumes :hammer: ). We are taking a week off of everything to goto Florida for spring break, so after a little bit of relaxation the car should be moved to a friends paintbooth for base coat and clear :crazy2:

Thats the progress as of the 14th of March anyway. Sorry about the quality of pics btw... those are coming off my phone. My Camera's screen has been FUBAR for a long time. :wall:
