Ignigtion box's are only needed when the stock system cannot offer enough spark. Mine had a 6AL box on it b/c it was supercharged before I bought it but I still ran the box. It died on me the second year I had the car so I took the box off and ran it off from the coil again. The only thing you can do to effect your tune is changing injectors, Mass air meter, pretty much anything that is timing or air/fuel related. As far as if you want to get a box for cheap Id go for it but I would not pay more then $20 for a MSD box new or not. Once I have a specific brand/part fail on me I never go back to using it again.</p></blockquote><p></p>
