In '96 when Ford realized the cooling issues on the Cobra models and prescribed the cooling "fix" performed by the dealerships to solve the overheating issues, what exactly did they do? I know it called for an upgraded radiator and a/c condensor, but what other modifications went along with it? The reason I ask is because I've noticed some differences between my '96 and others here in town, specifically to the radiator cover/ coolant resevior. Take a look at the following pics and note the different rad covers. The first pic is of a brand new 96; the second is of a stock"ish" 97; the last is my car. Has my car had the Ford cooling "fix" performed? If anyone with a '96 that had the "fix" done could post a pic, that would be awesome! Thanks guys.
