I have a 96 Cobra and the connector that goes to the right coil pack is broken. It is the connector that is highlighted in the pic:
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I probably have to solder the connector onto the old cables right?

You can search through this and see if you can find the equivalent plug. I can't search myself because i have a COP car so I have nothing to compare to. I believe it's a 3-cavity connector so pages 16-19. If you look closely at the plug, you'll find a ford part number on the plug. That will help identify what connector you need.
Depending on what broke, you can remove the red insert that holds the pins into the connector. You can then use a small pick to release the pins and remove them and transfer them (one by one) to the new connector. Then you simple reinstall the red insert that locks them in.
If you have a close up pic I can talk you through it better.

Sorry for the dirty car So the motor still runs like normal and I am unsure how hazardous it is to leave the plug like that. Best case: I can replace it fairly easily. Otherwise I will just put some electrical tape around it to secure it in place. If anyone has other tips, I am really grateful for them!
You can use a small pick to pull out the red clip. After that if you look inside you'll see small tabs holding the pins in. You can carefully lift the tab and pull the wiring pin out and transfer over one at a time. reinsert red part when done. No cut/solder needed.
EDIT: I'm going off your pics as to what the connector is. Please verify best you can.
Okay thank you very much, i will look into it! Is there some special tab i have to press or lift in order to get the connector off? I dont want to damage anything
I have two sets of ACCEL coil packs for the cobras if anyone is interested. they worked fine. i had a set and my friend has a set and we took them off the cars when we sold out cars. will make a good deal for one or both sets.
