So I figure I start a thread for my project/daily driver. I've owned several mustangs before but I've never kept any long enough to start a thread. My latest ride is a 96 gt forest green I believe, I know these are not too popular because of the horsepower but I gotta say this is one of the healthiest mustangs I've owned. It got 97K and no issues besides some small paint issues/dents so am pretty happy with it. I will try to keep the thread simple so excuse me i am not very specific.

This was the first day I got her

I was not feeling the current wheels so I picked up a set of newer gt's for a good price or CL

First on my list was to get rid of the 4x4 suspension, I eventually want a coil over set up but my impatience got to me so I picked up a set of Drop Zone springs at a really good price brand new. Oh yea also went wingless

After the install my front end was higher than the rear, I figured I try to remove the upper and lower isolators to see if it would make a difference. Sure enough that was all it took to even out the car. Oh yeah while my wheels were off I went ahead and sprayed them along with the license plate section

A couple days ago I found a local shop that had the mach 1 chin spoiler at a good price so I figured I give it a try, the 10 minute install turned into a two day installation. I originally tried to install the lip by lifting the front end but the battery drill I had died after two holes and the power drill was to big to fit under the car! Second problem was the supplied clips, they were too small so the lip kept snapping off. I called it a day and the next day I decided to purchase some washers and bolts and just remove the bumper.

This is how it looks, I kept the lights off to wetsand them before i put them back on. So this is how she sits as of right now, I don't know exactly whats next yet but as soon as I do I will update you guys.

looks good.
IMO the first of wheels would have been better if you would have stripped the black paint off of the spokes and center cap. The all black wheels look cheap.

Yea I thought about that after I had already gotten rid of the original gt wheels, at the time I just hated them in black. Well after I had the newer gt's put on I wasn't really feeling them and that's why they were sprayed, hopefully they won't be on the car for long (tax time!)
