96GT- who has the best fenders?

Tried to get the ball rolling on repairing the fenders before paint. Drivers side is going okay, but the passenger side is mangled beyond recognition under all the old filler. Now contemplating just buying a fender instead. I see NPD has ones listed for $100, is there anyone else I should consider? Are they all the same repro everywhere? Does one fit better or worse than another?

I would tell you do go get an old stock fender with a dent in it and have it fixed before getting a reproduction. I replaced my drivers side with a reproduction and it is so much thinner/weaker that I do not like to lean on it either just casually when talking but especially when I lean over to work on the motor as it will cave in. As for fit it wasn't bad but you can feel the difference between them.

I’ll agree with Scott. Find one on marketplace or Craigslist before you trust reproduction parts.
