Finally had a chance to get some decent shots with the new mirrors and new headlights on the car.

Shoulda taken the front license plate off for the photoshoot.

Other than that, looks perfect. I love the cobra look alike mirrors.

Which one? Front or back? Front is a black mustang club. I'm the state director. And the rear is the car craft sticker for 2013 2012 2011

Looks nice sir, nice shots! I have not even gotten mine out of storage yet, and won't until the end of the month. Soon though!

He painted stock mirrors to look like exports...pretty impressive job he did on them too.

Gotcha, pretty cool. I've considered something like that using a dremel and attempting to score a small line in them to serve as the pain stop point. I'd be curious to know what you did with our 9838? Did you make any such line or simply tape them off?

My stock mirrors are laying in the garage. The set that I have on my car (pictured in sig) look like they are all painted. In fact they are only painted to the point of the seam or mold line. Not sure if I have any pictures and difficult to describe.

thorco3 i use 94/95 mustang mirrors since they are already smooth. I then looked at a set of cobra mirrors to get a line of reference. I marked it off with a pencil and played with my line to where I liked it. Once I got it where I did want it, I use a dremil with a really small bit to get my line. Once I was happy with that I then, took the same bit and dug in about half the thickness of the mirror. Once I finished that I used a fatter head for the dremil to both widen and shape the groove to be more of a even valley so to say. Once I had the groove uniform all the way around, II scuffed the whole mirror and shot the body side in flat black and the mirror in gloss black. Wish I would have done it in Matte black

I also forgot that I used a tiny file that was the size and shape that I wanted and smoothed it to that shape.
