Yeah dude you're right, my mistake. Must be the '01+. I know the '98s had that stupid thing in the ashtray but didnt know that carried over to the new style. the 01+ is what i want, plus if you need to you can fit a huge cup in that rear one with the rubber removed...

that looks great btw :thumb:
thanks, yeah those cupholders are just as bad as the one inside the console.

you may have to extend some wires to make the cig lighter inside the console work, but to bolt in is 100%

the console fits w/out a problem. the wiring, i had to redo to get the lighter in the cubby to work, but all i did was snip the 01-04 connector on and soldered my 94 one.

i'm so used to not being able to bring drinks in my car, i don't know what i'd do with a functional cup holder.

Thought your car was a 98? You should have 2 cupholders.

i do, the one in front which a normal cup could fit in, is too close to the shifter and i can't shift with anything in there, and the ridiculously large one behind it, can't hold anything. i could put a 44oz drink in there and it would still fall over :/

Werd to that. In between the handbrake and the passenger seat works the best.

I'm def looking into the 01+ center consoles. They just look soooooo much better than the old ones. It's not on the top of the To-do list... but its on there.
