How does the interior piece come off?

They are held on with clips. Just be carful when you remove it so you don't crack them.

Okay but where are the clips held. Usually you have to push or pull in one direction to get trim pieces off or apply pressure to certain sections.

Coupe or convertible? Convertible is just a couple plastic plugs that come off with a plug removal tool... (that just pulls out the plastic plugs. It's not rocket science). After the plugs are removed, just gently pull the pillar out, the clips will release.
