? About bolting block on engine stand

I am getting ready to get a used 1995 5.0L HO motor delivered monday, I have a 1000lb universal engine stand and I need to know what size bolts to use to bolt the block to the standplate, I was told by someone that they thought 7/16 coarse thread and 3" long would do it. I picked up 4 of them today and the length seems perfect but is the 7/16 coarse thread correct....Thanks Jim

Thank You very much, I have only one shot with the delivery guy to mount it with his lift, I want to have everything there and correct.

Do you have an engine crane? That would certainly help as well.

I will have an engine hoist but not when the motor is delivered, the delivery guy will give me one shot with his hoist when he arrives to drop off but said he cant hang around to long.
