What adhesive do you guys use to glue on your emblems, like 5.0 badges and such. Back in the day we used to have this big tube of black stuff that fit in a caulking gun, made by 3m I think. I believe its intended purpose was to seal windshields. It worked great for emblems and such. Ive seen the cheap $5 3m stuff sold at autozone but Ive heard bad things about it. Specifically Ive got two gt badges that I want to put on my fenders. They still have most of the old foam tape in them so I dont know if I need to scrape that all out and use a heavy glue with some body or if theres a product that will put the sticky back on them.

Hmm, duct tape has never let me down before. LOL! I have a roll of that 3m foam tape laying around somewhere. But its only half an inch wide and its 20+ years old. LOL! Is it the stuff with the green backing?

EDIT: for those who don't know - 3m makes backing tape in a bunch of different widths
