After Market Cooling Fan?

my cooling fan just locked up on me last night. i was wondering if there are any aftermarket/performance fans that plug right into the harness on our cars. Also would i even benifit from a performance fan over the stock one, i always did run warm in the summer time, between the m and the a on NORMAL

you can't trust the stock gauge for crap. TRUST me when I say that the stock fan is MORE than capable of cooling down even the nastiest of street motors for these cars. There is a reason why off road guys look for them in the junkyards. They move air. PERIOD. I'd replace it with a stocker. PERIOD. I've got stock fan, stock radiator, 180 thermostat, and the tune set to turn the high speed fan on at 180....I never break 185. Even in traffic in the summer. Get an autometer water temp gauge...you'll be glad you did.
