I have a couple questions for running them in street cars. I have my eyes set on an autometer 6-gauge race panel. But I was going to daily drive it, I was wondering if I could somehow put my warning lights and stuff somewhere else. Like the place under the CD player? Could that work?

you can put them anywhere you want, but it's going to be a huge PITA.
Your going to have to find the wire that controls the idiot light then pull it out of the harness and route it to the location you want. Your also going to need to make and label the panel your running the wire to.
Why do you need idiot lights if your going with reliable and accurate gauges?

So if I go with a full autometer gauge kit I shouldnt need my warning lights? Either way, I will probably wire low oil/low coolant lights somewhere.
