Gauge issues, need help.

Sensor is likely fooked. This is with the sensor attachment wire unplugged?

there should have been some kind of resistance there. Just to make sure, does your meter have different places you plug the leads into the meter depending on if you are measuring voltage/resistance/current? If so make sure the red lead is in the one marked to measure resistance or showing the omega horse shoe symbol. Also if you just touch the leads together does the display change/show 0?

The meter I used only has 2 plugs for the probes. Red and black. I'll have to test the meter by touching the leads together but that meter hasn't let me down yet.
I'll have to get another sensor sometime soon and replace it again.
I need to do a complete cooling system flush anyway.
It all may have to wait till we get moved. We will be closing on a house at the end of the month or sooner.
