So I replaced my electric fan motor about 7 months ago. Had blown a head gasket, the temp kept rising up to the "L" in normal, and then the fan would constantly kick on to cool it, until it burnt out another fan. The car is midly modded with a stock fan. Is the problem in the fan or someone else in my cooling systrm

don't trust the stock temp gauge it is dumbed down by the computer. When it was on the dyno I watched as my gauge never got above the L as you said while his data showed the car was hot enough that it was pulling out timing to try and cool itself...

The problem sounds like the CCRM not the fan .. There is 2 fan speeds and low and high .. If you are not getting 2 speeds there is a relay blown in the CCRM .

How do you know the fan is blown out ? Did you test it with a power probe ?

I would go ahead and get a used CCRM in the junk yard and install it .. you can find them everywhere .

Please give me more info on how you tested the fan thanks
