Air bag removal/how-to

Is there a thread (yes I searched) on how to delete/remove the air bag system? Car is a '94GT. I'm thinking I want to remove both bags, and the control module so I don't get the buzz/light any more. What all else is there? Some sensors up front I'm guessing?

That sounds like everything. Be sure to disconnect the battery and discharge the system before you start pulling it down.

its a good idea to disconnect the battery but it should not be necessary. The bolts for the steering wheel are on the back of the wheel and the pass side bolts are accessed from the glove box and be sure to disconnect the module behind the radio.

I assume this is for a racecar, there are some places that require an inspection prior to registering a car and removing safety equipment can cause a problem

Nah just a street car. No inspections in my neck of the woods.
