I was always curious about how air ride setups do on the performance end of handling myself but never really looked into it. Seen 2 SN's with air ride and they looked awesome tho
They are geared more towards classic cars but they have a AirRide setup for SN95s. In a few years, my 67 is going to be riding on their setup. I can't speak much about the SN95 stuff they offer but I know that there old school stuff DEFIENTLY performs as well as looks sicks.
yeah thats where im going through. im gonna buy their level one kit but upgrade to the shockwave fronts. i just wanna see what it looks like before i just go buy it
I almost did this about 8 years ago and honestly kick myself in the ass for not doing it. My buddy had a 95 GT vert and had an Air Ride Technologies kit and it was great. He could raise it to go over bumps and entering driveways and slam it at shows. The everyday DD setting was also no harsher or bumpier then my conventional lowered suspension.
I see a lot of Resto Mods with theses suspensions on road courses and the owners are very happy with them.
For the record Air Ride Technologies is just ridetech now, just so everyone knows we are talking about the same group. I can't wait to throw it on my 67.
Oh they changed names, tells you how long its been since I have looked into this. When I am finally done with my engine/interior/paint etc I may come back and add an air ride at some point.
idk yet im so torn bc my main concern is doin my pi headswap, interior and paint so this whole air ride might not happen till next yr but still...im trying to plan ahead for bigger better things haha
