Air Tube for cats?

I just installed a catted bbk x pipe, the problems is the previous owner blocked off the air pump and took out the tube that goes to the cats. Right now the tobe on the cats is just open but it makes a really annoying rattling sound. Does anyone sell the hose that connects the cats to the air pump? Would it be better just to plug the hole?

You should be able to just plug the tube.
The air pump function is to help heat up the cats at first start.

Run a rubber hose. I've done that. Or cap it.

So it wont ruin the cats having them not hooked up to the air pump?

If you have an old U-joint laying around the caps that holds the needle bearings fit it perfectly if you want to weld. I went to Autozone and got some rubber caps and clamped mine, its not permanent bit it will do for now.
