Why not just dye the dash? Pulling the dash is a PITA.
I had to pull the dash on my old sixer to change the heater core.... TWICE!
It's not really that bad, it's just time consuming.

yeah that's what i was thinking. i wouldn't do it alone either, so i'm not toooo worried about it. my friend has worked on almost every gen mustang and has a fox he 5.0 swapped, so i feel more comfortable doing this kinda stuff when he helps me out. thanks for the picture though. it doesn't look as bad as i thought it would. i was assuming there would be wiring harnesses every where i looked ahaI didn't have much mechanical experience at the time either and that was the first major thing I had to do to my SN95. It honestly isn't that bad. It just takes time. The second time I had to do it, I had it in and out in half the time it took me the first time around. I've heard both good and bad stories about dying these dashes. I can't say either way because I've never done it. However, if it was me, and I was changing out all of my interior, I think I'd just bite the bullet and change out the dash. I'm not trying to start a fight with people on what the "correct" way of doing something is, but dying it seems like the lazy way out.
