Alarm disable

What's the best way to disable the alarm on my '95 Cobra while still being able to use the key fob? Seems the alarm is causing parasitic lose to drain the battery.

It could be that on my 97 GT vert the FOB module or the alarm how ever, is also draining my battery.

I have an aftermarket keyless entry module installed. Is it possible to take all the modules from the trunk (driver side) out, disconnet and remove the whole harness and the car still runs normal?

The panel in the trunk has only at the backside a module. On the front is only the socket for the FOB programming

Pretty sure removing it will not cause any problems.
