Damnit, I know I don't need 2 hotrods fighting for my attention, and a used Civic would be 1/3 of the price but I just can't spend money on things I don't like.

It was red with a 5spd and tan interior with 56k miles. I thought I was in love there for a few min. If I do get another fun car for a new DD I think I should get an LS1 or a 4 valve. But I really need a shitbox that gets a million miles per gallon. I just hate them so much.

Get a v6 mustang...do some suspension and wheels...and cruise in that.

Decent gas milege, and still looks good :thumb:

If I got a Mustang with the intention of gas mileage it would be a 2.3 or a 2.3T for sure. No offense to the 3.8 guys, it's just not my style. My buddy and I drove to San Antonio for the turbo mustang shootout about 5 years ago at 85MPH averaging 29 MPG in his 92ish 2.3 hatch. Another buddy used to have a 2.3T powered '87 Notch that got good MPG although he just swapped in a 5L.

My GF's Sentra looks just like that. She hates it but it's kind of a rattletrap having been in a few fender benders.

I've gotten between 26 and 28 MPG out of my 4.6 on longer highway runs... then again my car is almost totally stock with 3.27's.

Maybe in town the V6 possibly could get better mpg..I don't know...We hit 26-28mpg in the 04 Mach I all the time...with one tank at a high of 29mpg!!! And it ain't no six!

In town the low teens are very possible but 18-19 or even 20mpg is the norm... I rather get a Mach I...wouldn't you? LOL...

ditto.

My car with Cold-air and exhaust gets 21-23 mpg in the city every tank, and probably an easy 26-28 on the interstate at 65 mph.
