when i redo it, im going to have to sand it a bit, and use paint pens, then clear coat it... the sharpie doesnt go on thick enough, and the flash from the camera still reflects the chrome behind the black.

also did it with a realy worn out sharpie, need something with a fine point to get more detailed.. like cracks in the bones, and shadow, etc.

after i get the skirts and scoops, going to paint the entire car, contemplating on whether i should two tone it or not, the bottom has to be black regardless though (dont want to have to paint inside the door jams lol.)

scoops came in yesterday.. all i need now is the side skirts!

today, i was walking around home depot today, an came acrosse these:

Im going to use it in the lower portion of my bumper, and at a distance, will look like an intercooler... but up close will just look like a nice grille... thought about painting "svt" on it, but may just leave it blank.

here just a pic of it sitting behind the bumper, not going to completely install it untill i paint the car... but i bought one for my buddys car as well, it should be a pretty straight forward install.

yes, i know, the hood/ fenders/ bumper are all out of alignment.. will straigten that all up when it comes closer to painting it.

Finaly got my side skirts...

Now, time to start sanding, and painting... Should be finished soon, hopefully I'll spray it before I leave for Oregon, on the 23rd...

Only have to buy alot of small stuff now... Only about $200 bucks worth of stuff left to buy.

You couldn't... Atleast, not from the factory anyways... It was dealer installed in 99, there was a dealer invoice in my car when I bought it... Unfortionatly, I accidentally threw it away with all the other paperwork the previous owner left in the car.

From what I gathered from one of my buddies, who works in the parts department of the local dealership... they were probly having trouble selling the car, and installed it to "spice it up" or the original owners just wanted one I guess... Either way, it's not going any where... This is the only electric one I've seen in these years, all other ones I've seen are manual like the fox bodies.

I don't realy suggest it... I mean it's cool, and chicks dig it... But I think itweakened the car a little bit.. Also, there's no cover to shade you when your not using it... So it realy is a "sun" roof... I hate it in the morning... But love it at night.

you wouldn't believe how many people have told me that... And I feel stupid for never realizing that it's only hair... But I need to redo it anyways.

ordered ALOT of stuff from lrs, and a/m last night... mostly just stuff i needed to complete the cobra hood/ bumpers, but also got a black billit bullitt style fuel door, and a "objects in mirror are losing" decal... next item on the todo list is paint, then maybe ill tint the windows when i get back from oregon.

im seriously concidering keeping it just a little while longer... and modding it up.. perhaps a s/c? or nitrous... who knows.
