Alpine IVA-D100 help installing

I have a alpine CDA-7873 installed now and I got a iva-d100 to replace it. I followed the install step by step and rechecked every thing 3 times. All the d100 dose is beep 3 times stop and beep 3 times. No lights or sound.

Are you sure it was fully functioning prior to purchase?

Got it off eBay seller has over 1200 feedback. He said fully tested and functional with no warranty or returns. So if it's toast it's my toast...I did a simple red wire, yellow wire, black wire only and all it will do is click and beep 3 times...click and beep 3 times... Repeat..

It might be in a form of protect mode. But if you just hooked up the Red and Yellow to a power source and black to a ground and it still doesnt work, that means that its in protect for some reason other than say if your speakers were making it happen.... That sucks bro...
