Alternator alignment

Ok guys and gals , my v2 supercharged 347 is chewing up main belt . Runs stupid strong but cant seem to get alternator aligned correctly. It's in smog pump location and using an adjustable tension rod. Belt curves towards radiator off bottom of the pulley . Any and all ideas are welcomed .

Can you get a pic with a straight edge next to it?

as long as the belt curves it will continue to chew them up. You need to shim the alt to align it properly.

Agreed. It sounds like the alt is setting back ND needs to be shimmed forward.

Straight edge your pulleys. Of course motor has to be out. Good luck.
