Yeah they really do.. i love all the top end power and newly refound torque.

but they only thing is that they couldn't fix the rack leak. so i still have no power steering or brakes, so i guess i'm in the market for a rack.. i'm still going to try to fix it. maybe i can find some sort of really really powerful sealant or something, thats my next project.

i just can't get over how different the car feels.

Yeah i may give that a try, does anyone have any other suggestions? i mean i guess its gotta be extremely tough, and be able to withstand the heat of the fluid also...

Congrats Man!! As far as your rack, depending on where the leak is you can try something called 'Seal All'. I used it once on the oil pan of my dirt bike to seal a fairly large hole and it held for well over a year(i blew it up).

the leak is where the rubber meets the end, not the tie rod end, the other end on the drivers side heres a few pictures.

if you look past my fingers their is a ziptie holding the boot on, that has started leaking out of it and the ziptie rotted apart and fell off. so theirs nothing holding the boot there like its suposto be. so i'm at a loss, i used a hoseclamp a little while back, and it worked for a while but then it came apart again, it has to be strong enough to hold with the piston moving out and in each time i take turns, and i guess i eventually worked the clamp loose off of there.

pull the boot back...clean everything very well...use some "seal all" around the lip...put it back together using a new heavy duty zip tie...zip the tie down with a cable tie gun, not by hand...let sit overnight or according to seal all directions. Won't cost u much, can't hurt. Seal All is solvent resistant and remains somewhat flexible but strong. Using a cable tie gun rather than your hand for the zip tie will get a much tighter seal. This should be better than factory(crappy little squeeze clamps.).

However, that may not be the real problem. I believe that boot is just to keep dirt off the hydraulic shaft. Your real prob is most likely the internal seal around the shaft. You will have to replace it eventually but the above should keep it clean for a while till it goes completely.

That looks more like the last 10 I've seen with those same symptoms, the pressure line on top.
