Well, I decided to hit the track one more time before I put the car away for the winter. It was pretty chilly with the threat of rain, but I decided to chance it. I made 3 runs, the first two which were not very good. The first run the car cut out on the 1-2 shift for whatever reason and I ran a 12.42 @ 112 with a 1.55 60 ft. leaving at 6000 RPM. I decided to raise the 2 step to 6300 for the next pass. Well the car didn't seem right and totally fell on its face on the launch. I ran a 12.6 @ 108 with a 1.8 60ft. I looked into what happened and it turns out I set my 2 step to 3600, OOPS!! Guess that's what I get for BSing with the guys while I was changing the settings. So the last run I made sure to reset my 2 step to 6300. Got up to the line and let her rip. Car slightly spun, but I still had a 1.55 60ft, and ran 12.08 @ 114.2 MPH, my all time best. Im pumped at the new PB, but now Im so close to that 11.999 that I can taste it. Im hoping next year will be the year!

Those are some great times! The work you've put into that motor and the fact that it's NA is incredible. Looking forward to see what you do next year

Wow, good job man. Do you feel like the eddy intake helped get you down the track faster?

Its hard to say, but it seems like it may have. The car seems to respond well to the higher RPMs. Leaving over 6 grand and power shifting at 7 grand really seems to be what the car likes. However, I never power shifted with the stock intake and I think the max launch RPM was 5500 with the PI, so I don't have an apples to apples comparison. I need to go up to atleast a 4.56 gear, maybe even the new 4.71 from Strange. Im going to wait and see where the new cams and Teksid bottom end put peak power before I make the change though...
