another world famous pi intake question..

yeah so the dude that i just bought this other intake from told me that i should run rtv all the around every port because it has (intergrated) Gaskets.. in the pictures it shows little rubber surroundings across every port.. does that mean that i don't have to go to the dealership and get gaskets at all?? i just dont wanna f this up..

is it a real FORD intake? I dont remember having those on mine.

its not, the ford manifold doesnt have the built in gaskets (manifold to head gaskets), only the aftermarket Dorman ones have that.

you should be ok with using the RTV around only the coolant ports, you dont need it around the intake ports.

if it has integraded gaskets its not factory. It may have come off a car, but its not a OEM part.

I just bought one at Summit like two days ago, no gaskets.

my stock 01 intake doesn't have gaskets... my aftermarket dorman alum. crossover npi does have integrated gaskets.
