It looks like the hydroboost unit is directly in the way of the driver's cover though.I did this on my 98 and it was actually far easier than I've heard.
I didn't need to jack up the motor or anything. I was able to just sneak them off without anything in my way
You'll want to put a small dab of RTV(black/grey) anywhere two machined surfaces meet at an angle, so yes. Otherwise oil will seep through.Seen one post about using RTV on timing edges at head or something like that

On my mystic it wasn’t bad at all but for some reason on a Mach 1 it was more of a choreI was able to sneak mine off without much trouble
