Like the b series engines a lot of different newer hondas have k series some have i-vtec witch isnt true vtec. But they're in honda accords civic si's rsx's, if its a newer honda and has a 4cyl its probley a k series. But k20's are very expensive engine alone is a like 1.5 grand.

I dont need to be really fast, I just want some decent power, and for it to look good. As long as I can get close to 30mpg hwy Im fine.

Well a integra with the stock ls with the header mid pipe and cold air kit would probley be pretty quick. Would probley keep up with a stockish gt.

What about a ported gsr head? Can I put that on a LS motor and keep good mileage and get a good bump in power?

Porting I dont think would affect your gas mileage but I dont know much about porting. But yes it'd be a good bump in power and wouldn't affect gas mileage. With just a straight swap it'd be like 40 more hp, and then do the normal bolt ons and you'd probley have 190ish at the fly wheel.

Learned to drive stick in an LS Integra. I didn't find it to be necessarily slow. My buddy wanted to get one, and wanted to do the JDM front clip with the one piece head lights.

That can get pricy. I would just throw an intake on it, tint it and call it a day. It's your daily, that will be quick enough, and what it lacks you will appreciate your mustang for more.

Slipstreams are a hot item on imports....get wheel locks lol.

I forgot to mention, get a good autopage or viper alarm. I could stick just about any key into my buddy's and it would open it up.

I'm actually driving an '94 Integra LS now for a bit, not my most favorite car in the world. Gas mileage could be better, 23ish city. Get a civic if your looking for amazing gas mileage. And sadly I like driving them more.

However, the LS's take very well to turbos and you could pretty easily have around 200whp fairly cheaply, and reliably.. The LS/VTEC swap requires machining work i believe, and if it isn't done properly the engine won't have a long life.

I've been researching this stuff cause I've thought about modding it... then i just can't justify spending money on it other than maintenance. Not a bad DD though. I say go for it if you like it enough.

do you happen to know what wheels these are?

^those look to be white Rota Slips or knockoffs, and asked b4 the non vtec ls integra engines are better for boost as there cylinder walls are thicker and can withstand the boost without sleeves. The LS integra engine is the most saught after engine for boost, not just the engine but the tranny for longer gears for building boost. I dont know alot about hondas but have hell of alot friends that are honda lovers. Me personally i just see them for gas mileage purposes as they get amazing mileage. I would like to see pics of the integra with such low miles, must be in great condition.

They are nice and not your everyday honda wheels unless you got money! I owned a 94 integra and was pretty peppy for what it was but once you have owned a v8 rwd its hard to get used to a fwd honda lol

I bet he isnt even pushing 12-15lbs of boost, the ls motors do well stock with about 7-10lbs of boost and make over 200hp easily. When i had mine i thought i was gonna build it untill i realized how much it would cost to make 350hp out of a honda i could easily make 500hp out of a mustang sooo the integra had to go lol
