Anyone have Pics of dropped Tanks

I dropped my tank and want to compare it. Theres a vent line on the top most of the tank and I want to know where it goes as well as the hose that is on the filler neck. Heres what I got. looked like the vent hose was pinched.

The vent hose goes right where you have it. The filler neck goes in the big hole in the side of the tank.

The filler neck has another tube that they plumbed to where the fuel hat sits. If you notice there is a feed and return line plus a 3rd line that was hooked to the filler neck. That valve with the tube that sits on the upper most part of the tank was crushed shut. I have been having some issue with fuel smell which Im trying to trace. Im getting new lines which will help with my weeping braided lines but something does not seem right as far as how the tank is vented.

Then run that tube to the vent under the car where the normal one goes. Have you looked under your car for the fuel vent line?

I need to look at a stock system to see where it goes.

Go look under your car. There will be three lines. One is fuel feed. One is return. One is vent. Looking at another gas tank isn't necessary. This would take 30 seconds if you just peek under your car.

Question is vent to where? I have no charcoal canister and car is keep in a garage. I also have 4 lines coming out of the tank.

The vent line will lead to your charcoal canister. If you have a problem with the gas smell, re-install your charcoal canister.

The picture of your tank is blurry and out of focus, so I can't really tell what lines are coming out of it.

That's like asking John Force to put on a stock pully to trouble shoot a misaligned belt,lol. 10% of my car is stock. There is no putting things back to stock. I just need someone who has pics or knows where the stock system goes so I can create my own. I want to verify that the lines are routed correctly as this work was not done by me but a shop. The picture of my tank is not important as I know how the shop routed all my lines but wanT to compare it to a stock setup.

So you want to get rid of the smell of fuel vapor, but you're not willing to reinstall the charcoal canister, which helps with the smell of fuel vapor - is that correct?

I just need someone who has pics or knows where the stock system goes so I can create my own. I want to verify that the lines are routed correctly as this work was not done by me but a shop.

I already told you where the stock vent leads to... your non-existent charcoal canister. Ergo, the vapor smell.

There has to be another line that connects to the filler neck that is not on that diagram. If you look under your panel where the gas lid is you will see the large filler tube,theres another tube that goes to a hole in the bumper for spillage that occurs will filling up and last but not least what looks like the vent tube. I need to verify that the charcoal canister is connected to throttle body only or teed to vent as well. I am going to make my own charcoal canister. That diagram is awesomem thanks Paul.

I just dropped the tank in my fox over the weekend, and don't recall another tube connecting to the filler neck from the tank.

Do you have a 98 with the bastardized 97-99 mess?

Its a 98 GT with a built 4v. Tank is from an 04 Cobra, Fore fuel hat with dual pumps. Blue dot is filler neck, green dot overflow hose. The 1million dollar question is what is the proper way to connect the yellow and red dot.

It may not connect to anything at all. I can't think of a use for it.
