Does anyone have the Trick Flow Top end kit? What are your opinions? What kind of numbers are you seeing?

if i wee you id get on corral and find used parts much cheaper. with a H/C/I you will be making in the upper 400s with your blower. when i go with a blower ill be going low boost till i get a better block cause with my H/C/I I made over 300whp and am about to go E85 which is more hp

I have it with a D1SC Procharger, no numbers yet though since car hasn't been tuned. Never drove the car with just the top end. What I like about it is the ease of install and the fact that there's no trial and error with mixing and matching parts. Part of me would've liked to do AFR heads but it was a lot easier for me to not have to measure for pushrods, find the right cam, choose an intake, or find the right valve covers.

I love mine my car makes over 450rwhp on only 8psi and 15degree total timing and 15degrees is really low I can run 18 to 20 no problem none intercooled but I love my trickflow top end kit without my blower also .. Car went really well for sure .. I bought all my parts used but new so i only paid like 1700 for every single thing needed ..

With 4 degrees more timing and meth I could make way over 500 rwhp but I scared at lower 400 Im going to blow something but so far so good >. Car is holding up ..I would recomend Trickflow Heads for sure to anyone you will make way more power with the bigger heads and your blower ... U going to sell your edelbrock stuff??

Thanks man, that's exactly what I needed to hear. I will likely sell my stock stuff if someone wants it. I would love to get 450rwhp on 8psi. I would f-in love that.

The key is to make sure you degree the cam 2 degrees because these heads love RPM .. I dont ever go over 6000 rpm but the more rpm the more power you will make .. But trickflow is amazing and I would buy the heads for sure get a custom blower cam and run a RPM2 or System max and your will make more power then there top end kit ... There is always something better but trickflow works great ..

I know I could try and piece something together for more, but I do worry I may split the block. Cant even imagine what that will cost me.

my brother has ported trick flow heads. with just the addition of those heads, he gained 40 hp. his combo was ported e7's with a comp cam and the rpm 2 intake. all the usual bolt on stuff too, but the only thing that changed was the heads.

my question to you is, why invest in a top end kit, when you can just up the boost and split the block? you don't have much room to grow without risking a walk home. if you do go with a better block, any top end kit can't be beat for ease of use, but you could probably do better by piecing together your own kit.

The top end kit is a great investment and you can throw down 450 to the tire all day very easily with 14-15 lbs. We have tons of local guys crusing the streets with very similar set ups.
