I am thinking about it, that isn't a bad price for a gps, BT, DVD, and Ipod. I have read mixed reviews on it though

yer kidding right? Car audio is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. REmember that it is a horrible place for electronice with the vibrations/impacts, dust/moisture/changing weather/temp conditions so it will quickly show a piece that was rushed to be designed, rushed to be built, or worse yet both. IMO it is worth your time and money to get something half way descent, car audio is not good to gamble on. I would rather but a used reputable piece then one of those but its up to you. If you are already reading bad reports on it why are you ignoring them? Also remember that ordering it means that you will be out shipping and the time to ship it if/when something does go wrong.

I am not ignoring the bad reviews, I am just trying to look at the entire spectrum. I have read some really good reviews and some really bad reviews. I am just not sure which to believe. "you get what you pay for" was the first thing that came to mind, and that's why I started to do some research, but the mixed reviews weren't very helpful.

The price of these units has come down alot in the last few years its not like they all cost $1500 spend the extra money get a kenwood, alpine or clarion. The price of this thing is way to low, alot of regular head units cost more than this without even having a screen.

I realize this, I am not saying that they are any good. I am just seeing if anyone has used one before. And I was looking at a comparable alpine and it was about $1000, that is why I was leaning towards this one.

For $330 compared to the $1000+ cost of similar units, I'd be really tempted to try it out if I was in the market. Even if it does end up being suckish, you can probably turn around and sell it pretty easily and get some money back to a kid who wants a cheap unit like this.

the good reviews are the people that just got them, probably just turned it on. The bad reviews are the people that waited 3-4 weeks before they posted. If you want to throw money away after my years as an installer I have found no better way then cheap car audio. As he said you can always turn around and sell it later ,but remember that car audio doesn't get %50 of its original value even just a month after its original purchase.... But if you do keep it, or can't sell it, This unit will make a great paperweight for years to come!

That's the kind of response I have been looking for. I wanted someone's opinion that has been in the business for a while, or actually used it. Thanks, ttocs. I will just spend the money and get something quality. It just looked pretty good for the money.

I am leaning towards a pioneer avic d3. I know they are a little older, but I want nav, and ipod and that is about the cheapest I can afford.

I think you should maybe steer away from cheap. Less expensive is a lot better of a term. I could probably hook u up on a Double Din With Nav if ya wanted.

You didnt ask for installers opinions but I happen to have done this before as well. I dont think anyone would disagree that there is a reason why these units are so inexpensive. With that low price from these no name companys usually means you will get an inferior product and sh!tty customer service if anything happens. If you cannot find a product at a stereo shop or a local retailer I would steer clear.
