Yup, heard a lot about them. RUN, RUN VERY FAR AWAY. Google Procomp heads over on the corral if you want to read some horror stories about these heads. Some people run them and they seem to be fine but I would not waste my money on those. Get a nice set of AFR / Trickflow heads. They are always in the classifides on any mustang forums and can be had for cheaper then buying new if thats what your aiming for.

so why did you go ahead and buy the heads after only one day of posting the thread asking about them? Just go to the corral and put Procomp and the search and you will find more then enough info on these. Seems as though you pulled the trigger on buying these before really finding anything out about them. Does not do a lot of good to ask about something then buy it before getting feed back on them. These heads seem hit or miss at best. Considering it a learning experience and always remember. You get what you pay for. Hopefully they work out for you but IMO Id never touch these things. My heads cost 4X-6X as much as those ones but I have a nice set of monster heads that are top quality.

I did not just go out and buy them today or anything like that. I had a guy I know back home build a 347 for me to run well on the street as well as the track and only looking for around 350-400hp. I have not picked the car up yet and was just wondering peoples opinion on these heads as I have never heard of them. The guy who built the engine is a very reputable mustang guy and when I asked about those heads he said he buys them bare and puts good parts in them. I could have gone for a better head AFR ect. but he insisted for what I want out of the car it would fine with the procomps for the money. I do trust this guy as I have known him for over 10 yrs and is a good friend of mine not to mention his car is near 2000hp so he knows what he is doing. Before its said no his car is not running procomp heads either. Down the road I will do another motor for a turbo and then I will deff be going with and AFR or something. I only asked to get others opinion on these and I respect and appreciate your opinions.

ouch.... There are times to skimp and save money, and there is a time to go buy heads, rarely do the two meet....
