Hello guys,

I am thinking of doing a HCI swap soon and was wondering if i would need anything special to dyno tune my car.

The reason I'm asking this is because I know that 94-95s use OBD-I. I don't know exactly If i would need anything special.

Also one more thing. Is there any software that allows me to play with the idle control, A/F ratios, etc.

Thank you

Thank you sir!

I tough we needed some sort of "tuner" or whatever!

So i guess Ill go ahead and do the work and then take it to a dyno shop.

Another reason why i'm asknig this is because I bought this car recently and I've been finding some expensive aftermarket parts, and It is using quite a lot of gas (~12mpg), SO I had a feeling that the A/F ratios had been modified aswell.

make sure its a reputable tuner, I've seen many a dyno tuned car that didnt run for crap. the tuner will provide the chip and use his software, you just need to bring the car and the cash.

Make sure your exhaust is nice and tight.

Exhaust leaks will fvck up your true A/F ratio....you don't want incorrect info. :nono:

oh wow! i think u nailed it man! i do have an exhaust leak right now! I've done everything trying to fix my surging idle and excessive fuel consumption, but now that u mentioned that it that could be the reason of my surging idle. I do have a big exhaust leak. It seems my longtubes LOVE kicking out bolts.

Its crazy how certain things lead to another, but it makes sense
