I posted this in one of the other areas and got no response, figured I'd re-post here since the purpose is drag racing

street/strip shift Kit vs jmod...what is the difference, other than cost?

also, would it be better to get a street/strip valve body?

and would it be even better to do both?

Oh, and how much would a tune be able to help with the shifting?

What year is your car? Looking at the sig, its an 01?

The J-mod is essentially modifying the valvebody.

I have done the research, watched the video, but it seems like the j-mod is essentially a cheap way to attain a shift kit

I'll look into the other thread and the tccoa link once I get time

Ok so I have one question left here...difference between shift kit vs street/strip valve body? I know the cost and parts references, but is one better than the other or should they be used in tandem?
