So i bought my 94 gt. My first post and day as a member. But when the od is on about 35-40 mph if i get into it it shutters and a check engine light . Was told just to flush dluid and new filter. Any suggestions or past expcomes on.if i push button it runs fine

Torque converter shudder is a well documented issue. Ford issued a TSB in about 1998. The issue was generally fixed by flushing the system and changing to Mercon V transmission fluid.

I had this problem and I put in "Lubegard shudder fix." Worked like a champ. I got it at advance auto parts by the batteries.
