Are All The SN95 Front Spindles The Same?

if this is true then why does Cobra brake calipers bolt on to any mustang 94-98?

The '94-95 spindles are different from the modular '96+ units. The '94-95 units have a curved steering arm. These are the spindles that most people use on the fox3 cars to keep the stock track width. The '96+ units have a straight steering arm and will increase the track ~8mm per side. The '96+ units will give you even more ackerman steering

this is from a 5 lug conv. page... and i have heard this from multiple sources.

"# '94-95 spindles from a V6, GT or Cobra. They are all the same. Left and Right side. These will keep the stock front track. You can use the '96+ newer units, but the track will increase 8mm per side. "

it's not a huge difference, i believe 8mm is very close to 1/3 inch, but they are different.

Thanks! I butchered my spindles for the Aerospace brakes an I want to go back to the stock Cobra brakes. This should narrow my search a bit! :thumb:
