I take my dog with me everywhere. Because I walk her daily and spend time training her daily she is very well behaved and only in large group settings do I bother with a leash(such as a car show for example). When walking her or taking her to the hardware store with me she will generally stay with in 10 ft of me and I keep a close enough eye on here so that it has never been an issue in 10 yrs. One day at ace hardware(The girls behind the counter lover her and started keeping dog treats back there because of her) as we walked in there was a guy that looked at coda and started ranting in an angry voice,"BACK! DOWN! GET BACK GET DOWN NOOO!!!!". He was so over the top I thought he was kidding because coda was still right at my side with her head cocked 45 degrees to one side lookin at the guy, I am sure she was wondering WTF? When I realized he was serious I bent down and picked her up and he finally calmed down as we walked off.

Anyone know what the most common dog for ER dog bites is? A cocker spanial....

I've heard that. I've heard golden retrievers are up there too.

When my boy dog, bert, was about 2 months old and about 12lbs I let him run around the yard while I smoked a cig and a woman walking by with her kid snatched up her kid and started screaming "get your dog!! Get your dog!!!!"

People are ridiculous
