So ima make this kinda quick cuz im bout to head out to work.
gotta 96 mustang GT
right rear wheel wobbles when going down road, I hear excessive squeeling from brakes on every rotation of the wheel. Im thinking i gotta bent axle shaft and I'm sure some bad bearings or something. has anyone else had this prob? is it an easy fix or do i need to take it to a shop? by easy i mean I am only home 4 days a month from work and my time is valuable so if it takes longer than a few hours i'd rather pay to have it done.

Oh and how many splines does a stock 96 GT have? 28 or 31?

Stock is 28 spline. And personally I'd have a shop do it. Replace all the bearings back there.... You might think about stepping up to a fresh diff and get a takeoff piece from an 05 and up... Maybe 120 bucks, They are 31 spline stock. Pick up a set of superiors or moser axles from Summit or Jegs for about 250 and you'll have a nice lil budget setup.
