k so if i go wot in first gear and hammer second, i'd say about 75% of the time i get a very loud backfire.

does that mean im running rich or lean??

i have my fuel pressure set at around 38-39 without vacuum

Happens with mine too, I think it's cause I'm untuned. The tuner guy i talked to said it's usually a result of a lean condition.

Our cars should get together and mate, mabye we would get a opposite baby and it would come out perfect.

Dude I have the same problem once and a while a lot better now then it used to be. I played with my fuel pressure and it seemed to help, before it was up around 45 now its 40 and its pretty good. Vac off that is.

could be a problem...lean that is? try playing with your fuel pressure, mine was at 46 it would backfire like a pig after eating a dumptruck of beans. I still get it once and a while but not after WOT like I used to, I now get it sometimes just acclerating slowly, sorta under a load.

It back fires or just an actual loud pop? A backfire is usually the result of a super rich condition.. who knows I may be wrong.

Could it have anything to do with not having cats? My friends old coupe had full bolt ons and no cats anduse to back fire when he would hammer it... Just making and assumption?
