Bad radiator cap

Hi you guys I have antifreeze leaking out my overflow cap it looks like the cap might be bad I called the parts shop its only 5 bucks thank God but when I run the car it leaks antifreeze after it warms up could it just be bad cap please help!

It leaks past the cap? Sounds like its time for a new one...... Never had this problem myself, so if that doesn't fix it, can't help ya. But for $5, thats a pretty good place to start.......

It leaks when it warms up because it builds up pressure. change the cap.

Once I replaced the red and cap and it still leaked past the cap. so I gave the tabs on the cap a little squeeze so they would lock down tighter and haven't had a prob since.
Definately get a new cap first though.

It worked ! 5 buck fix thank God had to add more coolant of course but the temp is normal now and no more leaks

God now my radiator fan stop working could it be a fuse

possibly.
maybe the CCRM has a loose connection.. might also be a melted connection at the fan.
