Bassani equal length. To buy or not to buy ?

Equal length bassani shorties for 150 shipped? Should I get em?

i would get them if they are stainless or ceramic coated. equal lengths are not as bad as what everyone says imo. just when it comes to plug wires get a set that you cut yourself and only make them long enough to reach the plug w/o a bunch of slack. you then will never have a problem with burnt wires plus less resistance in the wires because they are shorter

they are not coated. is that a big deal?
they look really nice. no rust or oil burn marks.

equal length headers sometimes hit the frame rail. i would go unequals or better yet, long tubes

Cool I just bought em. I plan on getting em coated. What gaskets should I use?

I just use regular felpro...invest $50 into a set of locking header bolts.

What about wraping them with header wrap?

I wouldn't wrap them. If you miss a spot the heat difference could give it a stress crack or rust it out. If you want them constantly looking good pay up for getting them coated or just leave them. I use a Percy's re-usable aluminum gasket and it works great, especially if you take them off from time to time. Definitely invest in a set of locking header bolts.
