I had side exhaust on mine for about 2 years. I ran mine w/o the skirts, though! I bought the true Borlas side exit w/the SVO skirts from RGS. The day I was to put the skirts on my car, realized there needed to be something fabbed to hold them on better. I ran with dumps until I found out what I needed. I loved the sound the dumps made, so I sold these off. I wish there was a pic of them. You could then maybe get a better idea of how it would fit.

Not even a pic on the Bassani site.

I'll google that part & see if that brings up any pics. Report back in a little bit!

Found a lot of sites that type about it but no pics. Bassani supposed to be really good, right? Dang, tough to say if it will work without seeing any pics of it. Wish I could find more stuff for ya!! Hate to say if it would work.

Thanks for helping 1STOF3. I have been searching too and have yet been able to find a pic. I really like the way normal Bassani cat-backs sound on our cars and think the side exhaust would sound good too.

Edit: I just found these on ebay, to me they dont really look like they would fit

Found the auction. Those tips look pretty big, is the only thing that might hold you up. Sorry, I really can't remember my SVO skirts. If your exhaust guy is good, he should be able to angle these so they will fit right.

I just remembered I asked ABC how big the opening was!! Here's the reply:
Dear Eli

Thank you for your interest in our products.
The openings are 6" x 3.5" in our side pipe covers.
Let us know how we can help.

From Bassani's site:
* BX does not include baffles.
* 2"x4" dual oval single wall slash cut polished stainless tip, forward exit location.
* 2 1/2" diameter tube, dual 4x8 mufflers.

Looks like they should fit by the dimensions ABC gave me. Hope this helps!!

No prob! It was easy to find!! I hope this works for you! I had a custom setup for the time I had the side exit's on my car! It was with IMCO racing mufflers. I then found that Borla set on the Classifieds on here. I put those Borlas on for like 2 months. No skirts still. They sounded great, only really @ WOT. I am never @ WOT any more these days. Plus my buddy had just bought his 10th Ann 03 Cobra. After riding in it, hard to keep that kinda quiet system. I went back to the racing mufflers. It was kinda raspy, but I kinda liked it. Like I said, tried putting the SVO skirts on. Once I heard dumps, there was no way I could take away that sound! Side exit's looks great! Too many restrictions on the bends. Not really sure what that means, kinda makes sense though. Hope it all comes out like you want it!! Glad I could help! I knew I had info that would help you!! It just took a while for me to remember it!

Did you have cats on your car while running the side exhaust? If so, where the fumes from the exhaust right by the door that bad? Thats the only thing Im worried about because right now I have an o/r h and I can really smell the fumes even with tailpipes

My front 2 cats were gutted, back 2 cut completely out! I never had any kind of an issue with fumes, either!! Even say I pulled over & kept it running! I always have my top down, too!! Still no fumes of any kind!! It's hard to forget that, I mean not like I could forget that prob!

On the fumes, how much will your car be running and @ a complete stop? Even then, the wind is usually blowing some. Not sure where you live, always blowing where I live. Got to also consider this part. If you're moving, no fumes could get to the cab anyhow. See ya!!
