Looking for a top and side post battery that will fit. I’ve found a group 75 and also a group 75 from Altima. Both are about 1” taller than stock. Can anyone confirm if this will still clear the hood. Looks can be deceiving sometimes

I can't say if it will fit or not.
I CAN say I was working on my nieces 94 3.8 mustang last night and she has aftermarket Battery posts.
The negative side battery terminal (closest to the front of car) had evidence of it rubbing against the hood.
If I had to guess, I'd say the top posts would rub.

any reason you want sideposts? If you need the extra connections they make battery terminals that normally fill the needs of crazy wiring people.

Yea I don’t want a bunch of ugly connections on the top. Want to use the side posts for my relay power and Holley power points
